Welcome to BD DANCE - FRANCE, the new business unit backed by the famous brand BD DANCE WH.

I'm Aurélien, 23 years old and I'm going to tell you about the genesis of this project.

I started in figure skating at the age of 7. My coaches having found me a "talent" for this discipline, I very quickly evolved until I reached the title of vice-champion of France in my "Solo" category.

One day I discover a famous show "Dancing with the Stars" where I find the synergy and harmony of the body similar to my practice of figure skating.

I decide to register for a course led by Tristan Geiger & Catherine Pisarenko at the Turnier-Tanzsportklub in Zürich. This day was a trigger for me and I arrived in the fantastic world of dance sport.

I discover a world full of demanding complexity and I have the chance to discover my first "BD DANCE" dance shoe.

I find the same sensations as those of my skates, a shoe that perfectly matches my curves and that includes my anchoring to the ground, which is so important in a practice like sport dancing.

Unfortunately, combining my Master's studies in innovation and high-level sport was not compatible, I had to make the difficult choice to put my two passions on hold.

In 2022, I move to the beautiful city of Bordeaux and meet dance sport dancers. By discussing we make the same analysis (The price of the equipment has considerably increased) without clear and concise justification.

After a few days and nights to reflect, I contact BD DANCE Official and explain to them my project and my desire to create a healthy BD DANCE FRANCE structure by offering the complete BD DANCE range in the long term.

The goal is to allow French dancers to be able to equip themselves directly on the territory without having to choose a pair in neighboring countries because they cannot find "shoes that fit" nearby. Of course I do not forget the fundamental "The price".

BD DANCE - FRANCE wants to be accessible, the goal is to be able to lighten the dancer's budget, while being competitive in order to be able to offer a deeper and wider range very quickly. At BD DANCE FR we apply the "PCD" method (Price, choice, diversity)

After a few round trips, BD DANCE WH gives me a positive response and I start working on this project, drawing inspiration from the previous actors.

In September 2023 BD DANCE FRANCE is officially open.

I know that to reach my goal it will take a lot of time and patience, but it's the small streams that make the big rivers and with a lot of tenacity, passion and high standards BD DANCE - FRANCE will very quickly become the equipment supplier of reference on French territory and elsewhere.
